DADDS provides sporting opportunites for those people who are unable to take advantage of the normal activities that most of us are able to take for granted.
The Leisure Centre, Court Drive, is the venue on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3pm when we offer disabled people the opportunity of sport, exercise and socialising with others of similar circumstances.
The sessions are supervised by a loyal band of volunteers that allow the charity to provide an ongoing service to their clients every week of the year (for the past 14 years), with few exceptions.
We are constantly seeking volunteers to help us provide the service which increases in attendance numbers on a regular basis; we regularly have about 100 people attending each week. To ensure this service, which is supported by various groups in the local community to whom we are most grateful, fresh blood is necessary.

Volunteers from Edlesborough, Dagnall & Northall are walking across hot coals for charity. Sponsorship will be divided between Keech Cottage Children's Hospice and village beautification projects. There will be a BBQ, stalls and guy competition. Guy entries will be taken at Edlesborough pavilion 10.00-11.00a.m. on the morning of the event, judged in the afternoon and "torched" in the evening. Everyone welcome at the green from 6.00 p.m. on Saturday 7th November. Firewalking starts at 8.00. A spectacular evening. This is the shortest sponsored walk you'll ever see - come and support us!
