Disabled Sports (Sport)

DADDS provides sporting opportunites for those people who are unable to take advantage of the normal activities that most of us are able to take for granted.
The Leisure Centre, Court Drive, is the venue on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3pm when we offer disabled people the opportunity of sport, exercise and socialising with others of similar circumstances.
The sessions are supervised by a loyal band of volunteers that allow the charity to provide an ongoing service to their clients every week of the year (for the past 14 years), with few exceptions.
We are constantly seeking volunteers to help us provide the service which increases in attendance numbers on a regular basis; we regularly have about 100 people attending each week. To ensure this service, which is supported by various groups in the local community to whom we are most grateful, fresh blood is necessary.

Dunstable Town's impressive under 18s side travel to StadiumMK to face the youngsters of League One promotion hopefuls, the Milton Keynes Dons.

Lee Connelly's boys have beaten Kettering Town 4-1, Daventry Town 1-0 and Boreham Wood 2-1 to progress to the first round proper for only the second time.

The tie, at the 22,000 seater Stadium MK, takes place on Wednesday 4th November with admission costing just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

There will be a programme, featuring profiles and photos of the lads, and burger bars open in the concourse.
